It has been a long time since I posted anything. All is well, still trying to walk but it all takes time.
I think we finally got some summer, but unfortunatly I am not able to do much work outside.
We were away lat weekend to Moose Jaw, stayed at the Spa and attended a retirement party which was very nice. It takes a long time to get back to normal after a couple of late nights but then we are getting older.
Well I guess that is all for now, nothing exciting in my life.

We are leaving tomorrow which is very sad. Allan got over his bronchitis and then I got sick last night so packing is not fun.
This is the start of holy week in Mexico so the beaches are all lined with tents and umbrellas which means it is time to go.
Well back to packing which is driving us crazy.

The count down is on, not much time left. Allan had bronchits but is getting better.
We went for supper on the beach again with friends and had a good time. We watched whales playing in the ocean and I think Allan is on the third floor balcany watching them again
We will probably go and watch some beach volley ball. then get in the pool for some excersise and then it is happy hour with friends.
Our receiver quit on us so we found a fellow fromAlberta to come over and we rented one fromhim so now we an watch curling.
It is so hard to explain how beautifuo is is here and how hard it is to leavei it and the new friends we made but that is the way it its.

I can't believe we have less than three weeks left. Allan has had a cold so he is whinning. We are going to market today to see what we can buy.
We are just enjoying the sun and happy hour with friends. I sure am going to miss this place.
We will be going back up the coast to Casa Grande and spend a couple of days with John and Ellen and then home. We leave here on March 17th.

We went to a pig roast on thursday, all the food and drinks for $20, so we reallydrank up. iT WAS ON THE BEACH SO WE SAW THE FISHERMEN PULL IN THEIR NETS, SAW A BEAUTIFULL SUNSET AND the lights of Guayabitos. Nothing is better then that. Off to wathc curling now.

Sitting outside in the van so I can get a good signal. /still enjoying the good weather. Allan had the flu and passed out on me but is okay. We still don't know which way we will be going home but hatge to think about it now.
Finished with ehe dentist, had a root cannal which cost $65. not bad.

Time to update my blog. We are enjoying the weather and new friend. We go to the beach which is just across the road so is not far to walk. Allan has helped the fishermen pull in their nets and sees all the different fish they catch. The police arrested a guy right in front of us on the beach, very interesting.
We still enjoy happy hour with our friend that live here in this house. We are going to a margareta competition to day should be fun, I will post about it later.
Allan has gone for a walk and I have clothes to fold( he did the wash).

We are finally getting hot weather. Have been down to the beach twice and the last time I used my cane. I am getting around more with the cane now so it feels good. Going to market right now to get some strawberries and fresh bread. I guess we better get more limes for our drinks. The dentis work is going well, I get my partial on Feb. lst. and then have a couple to pull. We are both fine getting over colds but are okay now.

Weather is not as hot as usual in Mexico but we are getting real brown anyways. We had a little football (american) yesterday with a pot luck supper.. Lots of laughs. a good time was had by all. The day before we went to happy hou on the beach and then happy hour at home we will have to slow down out fast pace.
Have been going to a dentist here, mo I am not crazy. Getting $l,800 done which would have cost more than $5,000 at home. Had a couple pulled, three ,more to go, getting a4 porcelin crowns and a partial plate. No wonder I need to drink.
I get around a lot better this year than last, use the cane some and even get up to the third floor.
Will report more later.

The weather is a little cooler this month but still nice. We are both doing fine, I am waking a little more with a cane. I walk down the street with my walker just for a bit of exersise.

We got to Mexico fine. Enjoying happy hour every day. Had trouble getting set up with wireless but am working on it now . Niceweather , will blog more later.

Setting up my laptop so I thought I would write a few words. Busy getting ready for Christmas not like I can do that much but will trya few things. Have the tree up but It will only have lights this year. We are also getting ready for Mexico, we will be leaving on Dec. 28th. The doctors gave us the okay so that feels good.
We got over a foot of snow last night so it will be hard to get out. I guess that is all for now.

Well it has been a long time but I have a reason. On Aug. l3th I got severe pain in my back and had to go by ambulance to Regina. I can't remember to much until Aug. l8th when I went for 9 hours of surgery. I spent two weeks in Regina hospital and two weeks in Kamsack hospital. I am still using a walker, but the doctor said I am healing good this time so I guess it is just a matter of time until I get to a cane hopefully. I am feeling okay but am not liking the cooler wealther so I know I will not like the snow. If everything goes well we will be going to Mexico as usual. My weeks are filled with going to the hospital on Mon. and Thurs. for blood tests and to Regina for doctors appointments. I still have a pik line in which Allan has administer medication every 36 hours, hopefully it will be over next week.

I haven't written for a while so I thought I wouldget you up dated.
I am going to Regina on tuesday for my gallium test, should know after that about surgery.
We had hail last week that almost wiped us out. Ther are no more flowers an garden.. The crops are bad but they still have to combine.

Time for some different news than my medical problems.
Last weekend I had my 65th birthday and had a wonderful time. My two daughters and their families made my day special. We went to Kelly's for drinks and watch the kids play. Then they took us (Allan's birthday is next month) out for supper to the Northern Lights which is a very nice resteraunt over looking a valley. Then back to Kelly's for a homemade carrot cake (made by Kelly. The girls gave me a beautiful necklace with my birthstone.
Scott and Jodi picked Saskatoon's and Raspberries for me which ment alot.
I managed to make a huge pot of borscht which Ry and Avery love, needless to say they were only able to take one jar home.

On Sunday my brothers and sister came over in the afternoon with drinks and supper. What a surprise and a wonderful afternoon.
Thank you for the cards. gifts and food.
That to me was the best birthday ever.

Back to my boring life. Saw doctors last week. Again I was the big discussion at a conference. One doctor said he would to nothing more for me but my doctor and another said no, they would like to operate again using my bone for bone grafting put in a couple of screws and if my body does not reject my bone they would then take out the screws. They don't know how much nerve repair they can do for my legs but time will tell. I can take two more surgeries as long as there is some good outcome. I would be happ[y to get rid of this brace and be able to walk with a cane.
On a happier note the weather is warm, haying is going full speed and the saskatoons are hanging on the trees. Now did I say a happier note, maybe not. It is hard to find people to pick they just want to buy them already in the pails.

Update. I had another blood test yesterday and my blood was up 12 points, so no transfusion. Someone made a mistake as your blood count could not go up that much in 4 days.

I haven't blogged for a while so here is an update. I went to the doctor in Regina almost two weeks ago, had some fluid taken from my back and had a ct scan. I don't have any results.
We shopped for a new sofa for two days and finally found one that will work. The only problem is that we will not get it until the end of August. We also bought an upright freezer as I will never be able to bend over in the chest ones.
Well back to my medical problems. Had a call from my family doctor and my blood is low so I guess I have to have another blood transfussion tomorrow. There never seems to be an end to this. I have no idea when I will have my next surgery with this stupid strike that is going to put everything behind.
Well enough of all my troubles, hope everyone is having a great summer. I don't get outside very often so am not able to enjoy the sun.

Nothing much new around here. I fell again last Thursday and broke my foot, so a little hard to walk and now my arthritis has gotten worse since they took my off one drug. I think my like really sucks. Nothing is moving fast enough for me. Waiting to hear from my doctor seems like it is taking forever. On a happier note the sun is shinning but I can't get outside.
